Who we are

Brighter Colors Charities is a Michigan nonprofit corporation located in the Detroit metropolitan area. Our mission is to make fine art more broadly accessible to the public. We facilitate services that maximize incentives to private donors to help futher that goal. While we cultivate relationships with museums, public universities and other traditionally available public exhibition venues, we are particularly focused on expanding art access and education to under-served and/or historically disenfranchised communities.

Our organization is duly registered with the Michigan State Attorney General under the Charitable Trust and Solicitation Act (COSA), MCL 400.271, et seq., (Certificate No. 69931) and we are an IRS 501(c)(3) (pending) tax exempt organization. Any donations of artwork (at appraised value) or cash gifts to Brighter Colors Charities NPO are tax deductible. We are happy to assist in securing any necessary appraisals.
